As a native
Charlottean, I have spent time in many of the homes I list and
sell. Knowing the history and who built a house is important
in the acquisition of a home. It is important to, not only
find the right house but the right neighborhood for all
members of your family. Since buying a house is the single
largest investment a family makes, the right location where
the optimum appreciation will meet both your short and long
term goals is paramount. Financing and the placing of
previously earned equity are essential in home buying. With
the newer tax laws the right mortgage tailored to the buyer's
short and long term plans is just good business in making a
new home decision. We provide a wide array of mortgage
programs to meet the individual needs and help defray closing
for buyers to use in other moving expenses. We carry the
client through the entire buying process from contract to
inspections, the mortgage, the closing, remodeling or
additions. We give you the purchasing power of the contractor
to buy appliances, carpeting etc. Our goal is to cover the
multitude of details for you in the moving and buying
experience. It is definitely a world of "one-stop-shopping" in
real estate at Marilyn Hartley Realty. Our continued repeat
business is our testamentary to the satisfaction our clients
have in finding that special home. It can be the most exciting
and fun process you will go through and we hope you will allow
us to be a partner with you.
Additional
Information:
In 2007, Charlotte magazine
formed a partnership with Crescendo Business Services,
an independent research firm, to find out which real estate
agents have most consistently "wowed" their clients.
The Selection Process
This past June, Crescendo mailed nearly
31,000 nomination ballots to Charlotte area residents who had
recently purchased homes. An additional 250 ballots were sent
to mortgage and title companies, who are often best able to
judge a real estate agent's technical skills and knowledge.
On the ballots, recipients were asked to nominate only
real estate agents whom they knew through personal experience.
They were asked to evaluate them based upon nine criteria: Customer
Service, Communication, Finding the right
Home, Integrity, Negotiation,
Marketing the Home, Market Knowledge,
Closing Preparation and Overall Satisfaction.
Only original ballots --no copies-- returned in their
specially designed envelopes were accepted as valid. By July,
stacks of ballots had arrived and Crescendo began carefully
scoring and screening each nominee with the North Carolina and
South Carolina State Real Estate Commissions' databases to
make certain that licenses were up to date and that no
disciplinary actions were pending.
Then, before finalizing the list, nominated real estate
agents were reviewed by a blue-ribbon panel of local
industry experts. The panel consisted of realty company
executives, professional and trade association officers and
others directly involved in housing-related businesses.
Although panelists' comments were incorporated into the final
score, safeguards were built into the review process to reduce
the ability of panel members to influence the composition for
the final list on the basis of company affiliation.
Best in Client Satisfaction
The resulting list of Five Star Real
Estate Agents is an elite group, representing less
than 5 percent of licensed
agents in the Charlotte area. We are pleased to announce that
Tommy Ingram along with
3 other agents/brokers at Marilyn Hartley Realty,
received this distinctive acknowledgement.
